Well, a very similar topic was extremely popular on Impossible Creatures Hive, so I figured we should have our own suggestion thread here.
If you have an idea for a creature-- no matter how outlandish-- feel free to share it. Don't feel bad if your idea gets shot down; not every animal in nature has a place in IC. Try and think about niches within the game that need filling-- roles that no existing ingame creatures perform-- and then find an animal that works in said niche.
For instance, you might feel that the game needs a large flying creature. In which case, you can suggest a big, aerial animal that you think fills this role.*
* But please, for God's sake, don't ask for a pterodactyyl. If you want a pterodactyl, Google search "pterosaur" and find a species you like. Likewise, suggestions for large velociraptors will be ignored. You want a Jurassic Park velociraptor, you Google deinonychus. Some research is appreciated.
