New Vegas is well better than Fallout 3.

That's damning with faint praise, though. After all, being hit in the face with a cheese grater tied to a brick is better than Fallout 3. In any event, New Vegas is on my list of current gen games to buy once the next wave of consoles hit and drive current prices way the hell down.

The story, the setting, combat, the characters & the color palette. The mechanics of building your character is probably the game's greatest intended strength. But the real fun comes in riffing on it. Treat F3 with any degree of seriousness and it's a terrible mess of a game. Treat it like a sort of MST3K experience and it's a blast.

Ok, let me rephrase, what in particular did you not like about it?
I don't even know why you bothered trying to write a full post if it just boiled down to "everything" . Because it sounds like you liked nothing about it.

what in particular did you not like about it? The things I mentioned already. I'm not really looking to write up a giant itemized list. Again, all there in the first post.
