Wait. Are these shoes with television screens in them or are they shoes with logos and branding from shows?

I don't think I'd get excited about the latter.
I think shoes with televisions in them are the future for the shy or socially inept individual. Sick of spending the whole party staring down at your shoes? Not for long!

I love how in that picture, there is absolutely no reason for the thing wearing the shoes to be a television.

Even better is the completely "whatever, I'm a tv." expression on it's face.

Perhaps it's accepted its fate as an appliance during a rousing adventure of soul-searching and black magicks.

I think it's actually asleep. But why would it be wearing shoes if it was asleep?
Perhaps it gained sentience and struck up a relationship with its human owners. Perhaps it became their friend. Perhaps, one day, the humans realised that a sentient television would sell for delicious money. Perhaps they betrayed him, and sold him to science. Perhaps the scientists gave him shoes made from his fellow televisions in an attempt to learn the true extent of his sentience by putting him through intense emotional trauma.
Perhaps, one day, he strangled his captors using his power cable, tearing it off in the process, and escaped into the streets only to collapse on the ground outside.
Perhaps the look on his face is the unhappy expression of a sentient television passing out from a lack of power-- the expression of a being for whom life has been an exercise in constant pain, and yet who still feels the overwhelming urge to live, lying in the street, current ebbing away, seconds away from death.

... That was a bizarrely specific image to have on hand.

Less impressive because you edited it.
