hello havent played IC since forever

steam just reminded me it still exists, lol, so I am probably going to buy it.

is there a problem using this mod installer with steam version, for that matter are you able to combine mods??  I would guess not, and also that the other mod I would like to use, Creature Chaos, is probably too old to be compatible with steam version.

The mod installer for Tellurian is compatible with the Steam version.

You have to go into the files in order to combine mods. If you include Tellurian stock in your mod, you are not allowed to release it.

Creature Chaos and all of the old mods are compatible with the Steam version of Impossible Creatures.

I had forgotten about this post, thanks for the reply, I still plan on purchasing and playing this game again, haven't got around to it.

The purpose of using multiple mods would be strictly for enhancing game play, nothing else. I just remember having a lot of fun with this playing with the different combinations, so the more the better. So you can actually use both mods together? I figured it would most likely cause some kind of complication.

Tellurian is not compatible with Creature Chaos by default. The stock in Tel has the same name IDs and such as the ones from Creature Chaos. You'd have to change the IDs for either the Tel or Creature Chaos animals to get them compatible. The Impossible Creatures Revolution, Creature Spirits, and Invasion of the Killer Ants animals are all compatible with Creature Chaos though.

For the Impossible Creatures Revolution stock, the only public mod with its stock units (as of right now) is my Creature Chaos Reimagined mod. Animal Insanity will also be getting those stock units in its next version.

interesting sounds like more going on that I thought, even stuff still being worked on. I remember someone had planned (at least one anyway) a really ambitious dinosaur expansion a LONG time ago, never came to fruition. think i stopped playing the game after that.

Tellurian, Animal Insanity, and Creature Chaos Reimagined are the only mods that are still active. Hopefully new mods will start being created.

The dinosaur expansion you may be referring to is Marginal_Doris' Cretaceous Critters, which was a fake mod the Tel team made as a prank.

There was a mod in development many years ago called Reptile Revolution which was going to add some dinosaurs IIRC. I seem to also remember another dinosaur mod being talked about at some point, but I don't remember what it was called.

Also, I'm still salty that got spoiled.

I think Nightwolf was working on a dinosaur mod and then shortly cancelled it afterwards.

We need a dinosaur mod for this game. ;-;
