I recently fell in love with this mod, but I doubt I'd spend a ton of time on this site, so I'm not going to bother with creating an account. but I do have some interesting ideas:
Silverfish- a very fast but weak creature, however has the infest abillity the termite has. Giant Salamander (chinese or japanese)- low defense and moderate attacks, has the best swimming abillity of any amphibious creature. it's also slow on land and has the regeneration abillity, since it can regrow lost body parts. cottontail rabbit- fast but weak, it has good eyesight and the defile land abillity. Sea Turtle- slow swimmer and even slower on land, great defense with moderate attack. also has immunity since they are immune to jellyfish stings. Seadragon (weedy or leafy)- slow swimmer with weak attacks, has moderate defense and camoflauge on all body parts.
I'm a bit iffy on the rabbit and the sea turtle, but I think you guys might like the other ones.

You young'uns are all the same. You say you're in love with Tel, but the moment it starts throwing up and missing its periods, you'll up and leave in an instant.
Furthermore, cool suggestions bro-- I like the sea dragon (leafy, by the way), even though we can only give it camouflage on the tail. Silverfish will need to have something special, beyond infestation, because otherwise it's just a slightly faster termite without colony... Giant salamander is cool. Those things are fantastic. Sea turtle sounds too much like snapping turtle... Maybe if we can differentiate it further...?

seadragon- understandable. Silverfish- uh... I dunno. mabye make them have the worst eyesight ever? sea turtle- mabye give it loner? They aren't generally seen as group-living animals.

Neither are snapping turtles, though. And they're more fierce hunters than sea turtles.
Hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

another good idea:
spiny leaf insects. has quill burst, stink cloud, and camoflauge, but is slow and has weak attacks.

another good idea:
water striders/water spiders or some other water-walking bug...thing....
water strider would be slow on land, but very fast in the water with good eyesight and moderate speed aswell as hover.
water spiders would be relatively fast on land and in water, and would have web throw but wouldn't have hover (obviously) and would have slightly better attacks.

I thinked about that. Would be nice. It would can have "Dodge abilty" (50% chances of dodge enemy's attack).

I have an idea to make the snapping and sea turtles slightly different- give snappers display on the head, since they always display their mouths for defense.

I need to review my notes...but I have a ton of stuff I've written down.
Modern day as well as pre-historic creatures.
One I'd really like to know if it would work would be something special like the Beaver, given the ability to construct wooden structures that henchmen can build on, creating new "land"
and was there some issue with Bi-pedal creatures? because things like a Road Runner and T-Rex would be awesome to have.
As any thought been given to something outside of the main Animal kingdom to include something like a mutant Venus Flytrap or something mechanical to create Cyborgs...
And I can't remember if Octopus was being considered or shot down..
Thank You
I've been out of the loop for awhile and trying to get back into it...

Are intending to bipedal, in fact.
Plants and cyborgs can eat my flourescent orange ass. And they'll enjoy it, to boot.
