In case you're interest here are the best free, user-developed MTG simulators:
Manalink 3.0 - www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6401
Nice cardpool total of more than 5000, most of the tournament-worthy and tricky cards. AI has good performance. Multiplayer and Network play is kind of buggy at the moment. UI has been getting better and if you mod it, it looks nice. Has Commander, Planechase, Vanguard and Archenemy. You can play Draft and Sealed. Also has a Quest Mode. Ingame sounds.
Forge - www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=8428
Highest amound of cards with near 11500. Most of the competitive level cards. However AI still can't use several of them. AI is the weakest. VS computer only. It currently has a nice UI. Has a Quest Mode, Gauntlet, Draft, Sealed and playing for ante. Recently added multiplayer, but still no network play.
Botarena - www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=8235
More than 10000 cards, can play against AI or human opponent via IP address. Next to Magarena in terms of AI. Has Commander, Planechase, Vanguard, Archenemy. Also Sealed. Its biggest flaw currently is the UI and not having some important cards like Necropotence, Clone, Mishra's Workshop, Trinisphere, Scroll Rack, Memory Jar, and a few others.

Best devilish AI. Lowest amount of cards, with close to 2500. Nice UI. VS computer only. Still implementing many of the features.
There's also Wagic, more focused on PSP and Android, iphone play. AI is ok. Best UI but not so friendly deck editor. Nice amount of cards, around 9000 unique, I think. Has a Quest mode. Has music and sfx.
If you want card pictures you have to download them separately, for any of these programs.
