That's not half bad actually.
It's a bit too long, though.

it was a in a youtube video. I wanted to use all the characters I had at the time. So it did run rather long. but luckily to burn through some many characters, they die rather fast.

I should show you my latest animation.
It's a 3d conceptualisation of a potential front leg double-driven single input system for a giant robot deer.
Pretty grainy though.

Also, does Blender offer animation? Or is it simply modelling? Either way I found a book that comes with the program and I"m extremely tempted to buy it.

I assume it does. It'll take a lot of patience, though.
Blender's okay. I use Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, 3DSMax 2013 and hopefully Autodesk Maya when I bother to teach myself it. They're better than Blender, but they're several thousand dollars each.
I get them free, though, because university.
Well. I'm designing a nine metre tall robot deer that can walk with only one constantly turning electric motor. Because there's only one motor and it has to make the entire leg flex naturally, I need it to split into multiple drives-- one that rotates the leg, and one that causes flexion. So eight drives total. It's mostly just gears and belts.
And I don't know why I typed all that because it is not particularly important. >.<.

ok so I got Blender now, and a book that is hella nifty, comes also with extra DVD video tutorials.
I've been wanting to get into 3D sculpture for awhile. I have ZBrush somewhere, but I never really learned how it worked. My goal is to get heavy into character creation, concept and design/development. Make some digital "statues" and character sheets.
When I wanted to get into it before, I wanted to start making Marvel character statues. I plan on still doing that and also branching off into bringing some new concepts to life, alternate costumes and the like. I had a sketch for a Spider-Man costume awhile back and I want get it fleshed out and put in a cool pose.
