So I got a Logitech G15 handed to me yesterday. I immediately plugged it in to check if it worked because it had been in a basement for several years and no-one knew why it was left there. It didn't work quite well: it behaved as if it was holding ctrl+tab+cedilla all the time. I assumed it was because I didn't have the drivers installed and because I plugged it in alongside my beloved CM Slim X (hands down the best typing keyboard ever, it's just so smooth and wonderful to the touch). If it really was a driver issue, the G15 would be a welcome addition to my rig because a glass of spilt coke nuked some keys on my CM (the left alt key, namely). Today, I boldly ventured into installing drivers and further troubleshooting. First, I booted the machine with only the G15 plugged in only to find the exact same thing happening. I promptly plugged it out and plugged in my CM. To my horror, the problem persisted with the CM too. I restarded my PC(which took ages because of vista and not reinstalling windows for five(!) years(is that a record?)) and used the CM to get some drivers for the G15. I installed them and rebooted the machine with the G15. Again, the problem persisted. I rebooted with the CM and carried on with blue balls. Yes, this thread is my personal blog and you're interested in it because I'm awesome.
