origin is such an awful service. Steam or bust. steam isn't that good either there is absolutely no excuse for it still to have the same laggy, clunky, awkward, hard to find anything interface for this long, it's been up for almost a decade now and had made like marginal improvements sure you get good value for money on games that you're never going to play them anyway, but to be honest i would gladly stop using steam if another service cropped up the worst thing is that you're forced to use it even if you buy games from retail or digital versions from amazon or wherever

My only complaint, really. Though I always thought it was just my PC.

My only complaint, really. Though I always thought it was just my PC. My only problems with Steam are that the in built browser is super slow (even for Steam store pages) and that it doesn't allow tabs. All of this is fixed by just using the Steam website in a real browser, though.

You dislike something because of the company when the purpose of the event is to support a charity. You also get to choose whether or not Origin receives any amount of your donation while also receiving decent games as a gift. Some of the games can also be brought over to steam. You might like that considering you value steam for whatever reason.

I dislike everything for lots of reasons, but i'm not invested in origin or steam really. It's great it's charity, that's badger-shufflingly dandy. But I couldn't be more ambivalent about badger-shuffling around with EA and Origin shit, and on the rare occasion I use Steam, it's nice. So yeah, it's nice and all, but I don't care really.
