How many maps are there that use triggers?
I can think of that map with the green acid water, what more is there?

There's one in CC that has a healing field in the centre. Cenote in the Tel map pack has a sort of "bridge" that works via triggers.
And a lot of trigger-heavy projects have been attempted.

That may have been Lester's Lab-moving map.
One of the projects was a Capture-the-Flag map (well, actually more like Neutral Flag). It turned out to be an Extremely long and painful process. Much more painful than I had imagined. We got it partially working but we couldn't quite get some things no matter what we did so we just kind of quit after a while. I also made a point-control map myself at one point. It actually worked perfectly but then when you tried to play it online, both players just crashed. Will did a King of the Hill map eons ago with the same problem.
Triggers are cool, but they're picky little shits.

Yeah, I made a few trigger maps, but Cenote is the only one that's ever worked on multiplayer.

What about a map where every player has two labs?

It's definitely possible and has actually been done. The map Grove II Retaliation that came with IotKA gave each player two Labs.
