With Gmax flipping the bird at me whenever I install it, I decided to search online if there are any scripts that let me export .smg files on Blender. I found this one and, while it's primarily written for Dawn of War, I believe it can easily work out with IC, since both games use the same engine. Had my model texture, rigged and ready to be exported, had the script installed and as soon I clicked to export I got a .sga and .sgm files. I opened Object Editor to create an .epb and I get the "failed to create new epb" window. At first I thought it had to do with exporting the file with a .psd file rather than a bitmap one. I exported it a second time and I still get the same answer. Can someone help me and explain what I'm doing wrong?

Dawn of War, despite using a very similar engine, is not IC. IC modeling can only be done using Gmax 1.2 or 3ds Max 4, as it requires the use of specific plugins that were not written for any other software. Sorry.

At least I can export my assets built in Blender to Gmax, right? Luckly I'm a few days away from getting a brand new desktop rig and this side-project of mine won't be very time-consuming and harm my work schedule as a freelancer artist. Not only that but Gmax will run properly on the new system, avoiding all those rendering error windows that I get whenever I chose either OpenGL or Direct3D.
