I have a new laptop with Windows 10 installed. I cannot afford the Steam Edition or GOG edition. I downloaded a copy of Impossible Creatures from piratebay. it had 2 ISOs and some patches. i extracted the 2 ISOs and hastily deleted the ISOs. then i realized that the setup file needs to be as part of the ISO to be installed. so, then i rebuilt the ISO files from the files i have extracted earlier using IMGBURN and FOLDER2ISO independently (1 copy each - thus 2 copies of the same ISO). then i mounted the the ISOs created using IMGBURN and installing only the base game (no patches or mods)(installation went fine), I clicked on the desktop icon and got an access denied window saying "log in with administration privileges". I changed the compatibility of the game to Windows XP (both Service Pack 2 and 3) and admin privileges. This time around I don't get the access denied window but nothing happens. Even after reinstalling the game nothing happens at all, not even the splash screen. In the meantime I can load up Mission Editor with no problems.
Any idea how to solve it?
