Weeelll. There will probably be water on Mars before there are magical chambers spewing out genetically combined mutant creatures using only coal and electricity. >Magical >Scientific Play the campaign much?

In any case I don't think there is carbon on Mars. There has to be. The entirety of Sol formed from one massive supernovar cloud, which obviously had loads of carbon in it. There is no reason as to why carbon would be present only on Earth if all the planets formed from the same stuff. Also, there is underground water on Mars, just as there are glaciers on its polar caps. Also, it would be wise to think there was once life on Mars, as a carbon planet at its current location with a magnetic field is capable of harbouring life. Even though Mars lost its magnetic field a long time ago, it was capable of harbouring life long before Earth, as it cooled much much faster. According to some theories (which are perfectly plausible), life actually started on Mars and then came to Earth through panspermia. So, yes, there is a large possibility there is both liquid water and coal/carbon stuff on Mars.

"So, yes, there is a large possibility there is both liquid water and coal/carbon stuff on Mars. " Liquid water? Maybe in Mars, not on Mars. There is too cold on Mars.
"So the flying trains Evolved? " Of course! Didn't You heared about space shuttles?!
