,,portugese man o war would have bs connectors" Can you said it in simpler english? ,,rays have vertical leg connection problems" Isn't any way to correct this? PS another idea: Seahorse Horseshoe crab en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe_crab

portugese man o war has no sensible locations to attatch the head/tail/legs seahorse is vertical which may cause silly problems horshoe crabs are cool but do they fill a niche?

I actually like most of those ideas. I'm fond of seahorses, horseshoe crabs and portuguese men o' war. Me and Matt have actually talked about all of these before-- as I'm getting better at modelling, I think I could manage a portuguese man o' war, and mayyybe even a stingray or a manta ray. Seahorse would be an interesting challenge too.
And I s'pose horseshoe could have deflection armour.
Good suggestions, thanks!

By the way, we've finished the pistol shrimp... But I might get you to spice up his textures a little bit ^.^.

Horseshoe crab + High defense Deflection armor Immunity (Their blood have properties of disinfectants) Swimming Low size Regeneration (their limbs can grow again after they lost them) Pincers - Low speed Low attack They can not walk on the land long time (they have gills, so they can walk on the ground until short time) Low sight Here is Horseshoe Crab in motion, (on this movie he swimming upside-down so You can see how he move his limbs until moving). pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plik:Limule_halong_bay.oggImportan things: They have pincers. So the best way to use in Impossible Creatures is ,,Scorpion" system.

But remember that he have very low attack and ,,They can not walk on the land long time (they have gills, so they can walk on the ground until short time)". So it would can be instant abilty that he can only swim in water + You can use time abilty to walk on ground short time (if you will not return to water before abilty will end, then your creature will die). These 2 things will be really problems so these abilties balancing him. Or we can delete deflection armor too. This abilty is not really important to save realism. So it mean that it is really hard nut to crash on water maps but on land maps it is weak.

"They can not walk on the land long time"-- I'm afraid we can't do this unless we get the Impossible Creatures source code. We'd have to make it amphibious...
That said, it's certainly still worth considering. Me and Matt will have a chat about that one, see if we can figure a way to balance it.

Yea just don't delete immunity and regeneration. It's is cool if animals have realistic abilties what they have in rl world

Immunity+regen+high defence = ultimate when combined with anything with horns.
