how to run cd-Version on win 10?

Impossible Creatures from cd does not run on my win 10 laptop...

some peuple here sayd to post the warnings.log.
But that does not report my tries to open the game...
if i look into it after a try, it still shows the last use of the mission-editor,

What´s the error?

Buy the Steam/GoG version. It will run on Windows 10. There's no sense supporting the original CD/DVD versions when there's a far superior (and quite cheap) alternative. Sorry, but that's my solution.

now i have got the steam-version, and it works.
But i have some trouble with my selfmade maps
i copied my self made maps (and the custom grapics for them) into tie same folder of the new game, where they were in the old one.

1.
The mission-editor of the steam-version cannot open my maps.
Error-Message: the selected file is outside of all known mods...

2.
If i save my game on theese worlds, no save-file is shown, if i want to save again. so i think, no save-file is creates...

3.
one of my maps is for two players.
why the game gives options for tree players?
